I like retro stuff. Perhaps it was my undergraduate studies in history. Perhaps it has been my travels around the world. Perhaps it is my romantic disposition. Who knows?

I get bored with the latest glasses frames and I wanted something “retro”, so I wear Shuron eyeglasses. Shuron has been making glasses since 1865 and created some of the retro styles that we all know and love. Their website is at www.shuron.com.

My favourites are the “Sidewinder”, “Freeway” and “Ronsir Revelation” frames. At the moment, I have several of the first two styles, but will probably order the third the next time I am buying frames. I have the Sidewinder black and demi-amber (see the demi-amber below) and the Freeway demi-gray.
